Sony will screen its contentious comedy The Interview in select theaters on Christmas Day, according to postings by several theaters on social media. The Alamo Drafthouse chain, with locations in California, Colorado, Louisiana, Michigan, Missouri, New York, Texas, and Virginia, says it will screen the movie. Drafthouse founder Tim League tweeted that his company will be making tickets available “within the hour,” though he has not specified for which theaters. As reported by the Verge, the Plaza Atlanta has also announced plans to screen the film on Christmas Day. This post will be updated as more information becomes available.
