Brilliant Earth Unveils Ethical Jewelry Collection in Partnership With Dr. Jane Goodall

Brilliant Earth is continuing its partnership with Dr. Jane Goodall with a new fine jewelry collection and campaign.

The fine jewelry brand is teaming with the English anthropologist on a collection made with ethically sourced and sustainable materials. The seven-piece collection offers rings, earrings, necklaces and bracelets and ranges in price from $895 to $2,995.

“The Jane Goodall Collection and our collaboration with the Jane Goodall Institute reflects the best of Brilliant Earth,” said the company’s cofounder and chief executive officer, Beth Gerstein. “By combining our nearly two decades of innovation, artistry and planet-first practices, this collection honors Jane’s legacy and advances our commitment to leading change and giving back.”

The collection is inspired by Tanzania, where Goodall’s institute has extensively worked, and is centered on a banana leaf motif. The jewelry is made with Brilliant Earth’s Capture Collection lab-grown diamonds, which are said to be made in clean energy facilities, and with certified recycled gold.

“My life’s work and vision for future generations fully align with Brilliant Earth’s commitment to enhancing the ethical and sustainable practices within the jewelry industry,” Goodall said. “This collection serves as a poignant reminder that mindful choices can drive meaningful change.”

Ten percent of proceeds from the collection will benefit the Jane Goodall Institute to help fund projects that help protect and restore habitats, support health and education of women and young girls and support the next generation of environmental leaders.

Brilliant Earth and Goodall, who first announced their partnership last spring, chose to join forces for their shared conservation and sustainability efforts, they have said.

In addition to the collection, Brilliant Earth is releasing its “Rethink Everything You Know About Diamonds” campaign starring Goodall. The campaign encourages customers to learn more about Brilliant Earth’s diamond sourcing standards and innovations in both natural and lab-grown diamonds.

“Brilliant Earth was founded almost 20 years ago with the aim of paving the way for ethical and sustainable jewelry,” Gerstein said. “Since then, we’ve challenged many to look at the choices they make, exemplified by our ‘Rethink Everything You Know About Diamonds’ campaign, which invites consumers to transform their perceptions about diamonds and recognize the profound impact their choices can have on both communities and the environment.”
