Calvin Klein is welcoming spring early with a breathtaking mainly B&W campaign starring BTS‘s Jungkook.
Jungkook, who was announced as a Calvin Klein global brand ambassador back in March of 2023, takes center stage in Calvin Klein Jeans’ newest campaign promoting the brand’s spring 2024 catalog.
Jungkook’s Calvin Klein Jeans spring 2024 campaign was shot by none other than Mert Alas, whom you might recognize as one-half of the iconic fashion photography duo Mert and Marcus.
In the campaign shots, Jungkook poses both around New York City’s Grand Central Station and in a studio setting, clad in new denim, cotton, and leather pieces by Calvin Klein Jeans. He was styled by Emmanuelle Alt for the shoot and its accompanying videos.
According to a press release by the brand, the campaign’s aim was to amplify the star’s “ status as a global popstar” by showcasing his natural confidence. The pieces modeled by Jungkook in the campaign are part of a new drop by Clavin Klein Jeans, which includes wardrobe essentials meant to represent “the brand’s youthful energy and distinctive minimal design codes.”
Some key pieces are the ’90s Straight Fit Jeans and the Oversized Monogram T-shirt. Jungkook likely shot before starting his mandatory conscription in South Korea last December.
Though Calvin Klein has been teasing Jungkook’s new images for a few days with videos on social media, the full campaign is officially launching today, February 16, to coincide with the official collection drop on calvinklein.com.
